My 2nd smile. It was proving very difficult to find one with the right mileage so I can add warranty.

Sadly I have none, waiting is the only thing you can do. Tbh I have been monitoring Tourer prices for 3 years now as this is my 2nd. I have not seen one pop up for sale with under 50k on the clock. I'm sure there will be more but you will need to be patient. Only 3x places worth looking, Pistonheads, Autotrader, Ebay, and the M5 facebook page.

All though mine is low mileage it required 2.5k of maintenance, tyres, discs & pads, few service items etc. BUT I did negotiation this into the price.

Good luck! Well worth the wait.

Thanks, Ant - I will persevere. I see that the BMW insured warranty is reasonable below 60k and then gets into funny money so I will wait. In the meantime - if you need to sell sometime soon for any reason - give me a ping. Enjoy!

This ones just popped up on pistonheads.

Was for sale during the summer so looks like it didn't sell. Can't comment if it's a good example or not but the mileage is sweet.

I was following this car coming into Salisbury on the A36 a few weeks back. Had to take a photo of it to show friends as can't remember the last time I saw an M5 Touring..... Very nice.

It was up for sale at the start of 2014 too, I exchanged a couple of emails with the owner prior to buying KN57 FPC in April of that year (I'm assuming its the same person still as the photos look almost identical - although one of the idrive pictures has a date of July 2014) I never followed up due to the distance involved.

There is also another M5 touring on Autotrader at the moment but its been mis-labeled and shows up when looking in the regular 5 series touring section, needless to say I still look through the adverts on an almost daily basis and think why the hell did I get rid of mine....

Yes - I was ready to go and look at the one on PH - literally on the plane waiting to take off for Newquay - when the co-pilot felt ill and had to be taken off....I gave up when they said there would be a 7 hour delay. I read from the E61 buyers guide that the E61 lacks in the exhaust volume department so I wondered if I was best off getting a saloon instead. Any comments on the sound of E61 v's E60?
