will surprised IF you get a decent discount this year TBH, maybe very low offers, as you and they will say"it's a new model out sir". LOL
But what are the Gremlins?? Nothing on the Internet so can't be anything worthy of reporting.

I'm banking on around 12-15% discount & a favourable interest rate if i finance.

Anyone who's had an M5 or 2 knows what discounts are available on these cars & thus where the residuals end up so BMW will be making a huge mistake if they don't support the F90 from day 1. Agreed they won't chuck everything at them on launch, but with the extra spec & £13k higher base price, they'll not be selling many if they don't.

Keen to get one but happy to avoid altogether if the price isn't agreeable. If i don't get one at launch then highly unlikely i'd bother with one a few months or years down track, as will hopefully have a different proposition on order by then.

Nope, Coopers Thames Ditton. They offered the best deal on my F10 M5, but Chesterfield offered to match the deal & are closer to me that TD.

Cars don't arrive until March at the earliest, so no pricing is relevant yet. Will be Q1 deals for Q2 delivery so won't (i imagine) be discussing incentives until at least January.

Nobody will be committing to costs on these cars yet, got a feeling the cars won't be going into build until as above, January.

Well checked out the new M5...................... It's a BARGE................ nice interior.................. not a great deal different to the F10 IMO apart from a silly price, not for me were I drive. I put some pictures up on this link bottom of the page.

Thanks for putting up the photos!

The F90 M5 may be a case of "not interested at the price new" but "great second-hand buy a few years down the line" - at the price (117.000 euro in Belgium) it is certainly not worth swapping my LCI F10, even if the F90 no doubt is a great car.

I'm with a couple of you , I am now not going to be going ahead with an order ATM.

Dealer told me yesterday that a standard car with a4.5k deposit was around £1400 a month on a pcp.
Ouch... if there aren't some decent discounts on that, I will be hanging on to my F10 for some time, as having sat in the F90 at the Sunday service, I was not excited enough for that level of expenditure !

I notice in the downloadable price list from the BMW website that they've sneaked in a cut in the mileage allowance on the service inclusive package; used to be 50000 miles/3 years when I last bought an M5, now its down to 36000/3 years.

Particularly relevant for me as Ive just took my M6 GCP to > 50000 miles. Can anyone beat that? its a lot of tanks of super unleaded. Car still looks great, only the drivers seat side bolster showing some signs of wear and that may be more to do with my fat arse rather than anything else. My PCP plan tells me at its conclusion in 11 m time and at a mileage of 60000 I will have a car valued at £23000 frownfrown Do I stick or just repeat the whole crazy process again.

You have me beat! I've only done 45,500! If I'd not driven my other cars as much this year I'd have probably topped 50,000.

Had the car since Aug 15 and at 44k. PCP on 0% for 4 years.

Would be insane to let it go for that little, not like it is falling apart at 60.000!

From experience on the last few iterations of M cars, discounts rarely come out when the car is newly released.

After 6 months or so - when all the hype has died down and sales projections are not meeting targets - do the dealers, manufacturers and finance companies start offering heavy discounts and the 0% APR deals.

Look at the new gen M5, I would take an RS6 over it any day too.

I've currently got an F10 M5 and love it. Its monstrously fast, can carry the family when required and can be parked without attracting the wrong sort of attention.

I'm nearly 3 yrs through my deal so could be tempted to shift to a new car but I won't.

The main challenge I have is that the M5 just isn't a £90k car. It would need to be discounted significantly which I'm guessing it won't be for a year or two.

I'll be paying off the balloon and keeping the current M5 and buying a fun car rather than shifting a load of cash into an overpriced mega-depreciating asset!

I flirted momentarily with the idea of the new M5. Having owned a series of fairly boring executive cars since my E60 M5 I was tempted until I saw the price tag and that it doesn't look that special/different.

Considering a G30 540i at the moment but then started to realise for the money I could buy a fairly decent AUC F10 M5 or RS6....

I have just ordered the G30 540i M Sport XDrive for next March, I got 17.5% off so all good. I test drove one and it was quick and quiet, lots of toys too.

I have 75k on my M5 which was delivered new in March 2015. Not trading it any time soon - I know I'd be in for the spanking of my life.

It's heavy on fuel, but what a car to do it in.
