Agreed, use Phil Crouch CPC for new shells.

A mate had his done at about 95K just for piece of mind. That car has done about 120K now including several trackdays with no bother.

The guy I sold my E60 M5 to had a quote of £1500 to do the job, nothing wrong with the car but its done about 67K now so again for piece of mind.

In the grand scheme of things this isn't that expensive. A set of MPSS were about £900 and a clutch is probably more than £1500.

Geography can be the most annoying thing for jobs like that.

In Scotland I don't doubt there'd be people capable of doing the job but it won't exactly be common place. Compare the time it would take for someone doing them all the time vs. very rarely or for the first time and it's always going to cost a decent bit more.
