Wheels look very nice.

Are they lighter than the others?

Competition pack wheels are IMHO the best wheel design BMW ever came up with (CSL wheels on par) - looks fantastic!

I've read (and I wish I could find the post to quote it) that the original 19s are forged alloy and very light for their size.

The original 19" were forged (made by Fuchs) and lighter than the 19" CP wheels as they were narrower IIRC the CP wheels are not forged.

CP wheels:

Front Wheels - 19x9" ET31 (11.55kg, 31mm offset) - BMW Part # 36-11-2-284-055
Rear Wheels - 19x10" ET25 (12.1kg 25mm offset) - BMW Pat # 36-11-2-284-060

Fuchs wheels:

Front M390 05/07 - 12/10 8½J x 19, ET29 BiColor, high polished 10.50 kg
Rear M390 05/07 - 12/10 9½J x 19, ET23 BiColor, high polished 11.30 kg

The 19" 220M is technically a great wheel and highly underrated IMO primarily bc its diamond cut finish is a PITA.

I still like the 220m however the diamond cut simply does not work in this country.

I had all three the 18" 19" and CP 19"

18" and the CP 19" were my favourite for looks but the 19" Fuchs wheel was probably the "best wheel" I had cup+ tyres on those and the car was really nice to drive on them.

But the 220Ms are so much easier to clean than the CP wheels, which are a complete pita.

I still like the 220M wheels, which look much nicer in reality than in pictures, but the CP wheels are gorgeous.

It is a pity that they are not forged, to make them a bit lighter.
