Digging up an old thread, are the regular M2 deals done and dusted now? Is it just a case of waiting for the new M2 comp?

Thanks

Adam
No. The good deals are still around.

Can't help with the deal. I've had my M2 less than a year and lost lots of money on it so I'm hardly the one to be advising on that kind of thing.

Just wanted to say I agree I can't believe how well it grips in the wet - and I came from an RS3. As long as you're not an absolute tool it'll push out of corners with ease. It's even more fun in the summer though! Good luck with getting the deal done, there aren't many better cars imo, regardless of budget smile

Regarding servicing - the car I got had a 5 year service pack on it, which I wasn't told about. So maybe check and see if there's a similar pack on the one you're looking at.

Oh and as I've just had my first tyre change, the rears are £430 for the pair and should last at least 10k miles, but will go to 15k if you're more gentle. Fronts last forever.
Did you by a DCT car just out of interest ? tks

It's good but not the best imo. At low speed in sport mode it's quite jerky and sometimes it's slower than I'd like going into reverse. Nothing deal breaking but there are better dual clutch boxes. When pushing on it's fantastic.

You have to try one of these N55 M2s in sport mode, windows open

For a standard car it sounds insane

For me it's such a big part of the experience, im not sure I could go to the M2c
