Yes, Milltek, and no - I’ve not taken any sound clips.
It’s pretty pointless really as listening to it on either your phone or speakers just doesn’t give the real sound.
I’ve had mine on since Feb and now think I prefer it in efficient mode where the valves open at 4K anyway - it has a gruff sound to it and is very noticeable over the oe exhaust.
In Sport / + it has quite a rasp at higher revs and whilst lots will like it, (I don’t dislike it) it’s possibly a little to much for me.
I’ve heard some of the US guys with the same system but obviously they don’t have the OPFs, and they really are a bit ott sound wise.

All that aside, this exhaust really does make the car that bit better.
Also worth disabling the ASD.

I’ve also now got rid of the bloody awful blue callipers - had them painted and whilst not quite as dark as I’d hoped, I prefer to the blue..

Ar yes i see after going back it was thats pretty shady who said they had removed the filters.

Well I took out the particulate filters hehe
Car looks great and agreed the blue calipers look a bit out of place. I have just done nearly 4 years with the same colour calipers on an M140 though so can probably suffer them.

Yes, he took out his filters and has a different system on his car.
I’m just not so brave as to tune the car whilst under warranty!

When is production stopping - any news and when would the last builds be ordered as a result?

I keep getting drawn to a new M2C having previously had an M4C and then an X4M which only lasted a few weeks before rejection and being shafted by BMW as a result. Having been very let down I suppose I'm a mug for still looking at an M2C, but I do like them.

The only reservation I have is the interior, but that seems to be compensated by the drive. I'm thinking of a manual.

Think that's US.

Europe is Autumn 2020 I believe. As S55 fails latest emissions regs.

That's my understanding also.

European production of M2 CS ceases by September too I think and then US production kicks in. Also down to emissions regs too I'd say.

Though not sure if COVID-19 has affected this at all.

Oh no, now I really am in trouble!!

I kinda like the frozen gold but they probably wouldn't look great with Hockenheim Silver. I can't find any pics with this combo so I guess that tells me black is the way to go. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I just bought a black set for an LBB car. In my eyes black would suit your colour too. DM me if you want a contact to buy them

Do you recall which firm delivered them? Were they well packaged?

It was palletline I think. They were on a wooden pallet, shrink wrapped to death so no movement at all. Wheels arrived in perfect condition and I think it was next day too. got them over a year ago so not 100% on courier or delivery times.

I've put some FG 763s on my LBB car, even with the large brakes, it's now possible clean the barrels. In the flesh, and with the inevitable brake dust, they are not too bling...

I think they become lost as it’s all bright colours especially with the 2NH brakes. I’d go black personally.

I've found a few pics of FG with HS. Thoughts?

Wouldn't be my instinctive preference but the images look great. From my experience, be aware the FG wheels are very very light dependent as to how gold they look... and even the slightest brake dust changes that too.

Go for it I say thumbup

Love the wheels but my god they look like kerb magnets.
