I don’t think 4K is absurd at all on such a car tbh. It’s something I wish I done when ordering my F10.

The colour is the single most thing on the car that can make it pretty exclusive and unique from factory. It will also help resale Value imo.
To be honest with most options all added up at the end of the day when you go to sell at best it may help the car sell quicker but you won't get a premium for it.
Dealers when giving a wholesale price don't factor it in, it comes down to model, age and miles. So options are just to make the first owner happy given the cost.

The LCI dealer cars are great value at the moment - just secured a Motegi Red from a dealer for £68k with 1400 miles (only driven by dealer principal). Only pack on the car is the Visibility Pack - but still think this is a good deal - free rubber mats and boot liner too.

Running-in service was done at c900 miles - assume this is ok.

Looking forward to starting some cosmetic mods - e.g. front bumper splitter.

This has been a great thread to help source the right car - thanks again,
Prashan

RI Service seems well early, good price for the spec. Have a real good test drive first.

Thanks JM - lockdown not helping - first time I will see the car will be on collection - will ensure I test drive first (would have already paid for it) but have a chance to reject the car on the day, etc - great point.

Great deal! That’s about £35k off list and with the running in service paid for.

If it’s your first drive of a F90 M5 then I guarantee you’ll be smiling smile

Thanks guys - kudos to Stratstone Hull...never driven an M car...ordered a M2 competition - factory order, one of the last cars...park lane damaged it on the day of collection - everything happens for a reason...for £15k more, I’m able to get into an LCI M5 Comp...fingers crossed the car is ok on collection...... assume you all run premium fuel in the car..sadly dealer has been using basic unleaded...first thing I will do before the journey home is to fill with Shell VPower.

I collected my 1500 mile LCI from Stratstone Chesterfield a few weeks ago (see earlier in this thread). All was good.

I’ve used 95 Ron with this and the pre-facelift M5 Comp. Happy to be corrected if I should be using 97+ Ron?

Enjoy the ride home and please avoid picking up a speeding ticket smile

Then we want photos and expletives wink

They are optimised for 98 RON and it's all I ever use in my F10

Had to use 95 RON when in NI once and it's certainly noticeable especially when you as near as possible empty the tank then re-fill with premium for the first time.

Shell and Tesco are what you want...

I use Sainsbury 97 or Tesco 99 all the time, never used 95Ron in any "M" car I've owned. When I can get it I use ESSO super, I found it the best.
Shell just a rip-off, never found anything extra in it just silly prices.

Vpower is crazy expensive where I live so its Tesco 99 for me.
The car is bonkers fast when you can find the space to give it its head.

My bad. I’ve been mistakenly using Esso 95 Ron. The performance is still pretty amazing but I will switch on the next fill up.

There are a number of 70-registered LCI cars with running in mileage on AT in the low 70's

I assume you can get dealer finance at 2.9% on one

There are a few about but with varying specs (options), just check AT. Stratstone had the lowest prices when I was looking and I bought from them.

I think the BMW finance 2.9% APR is only available on new cars but I am open to being corrected.

This one has the Comfort Plus Pack, less than 500 miles, and may be more, for £76k:

Not being negative just realistic.... wry smile from me when seeing my dealer is selling their ‘driven only by dealer principle’ M5 LCI with 520 miles. The thing is the dealer principle has never driven it due to the sky high bik. I actually ragged 80 miles of it when my car was in for recall and my detailer also borrowed it for a weekend thrash. You might be lucky in that the local parish priest has been tootling around in it, but I’d never buy an ex Demo M no matter what the saving. Would think the deals on brand new would not be much different. Just saying.......

Normally I’d agree but it’s a bit different at the moment because under lockdown test drives are not allowed, so I’m reasonably comfortable that it was the DP driving mine to home and back. The mileage over the period reflects this. And if they did rag it before it was properly run in, then there’s still nearly 3 years of warranty to cover any issues. I doubt I’ll still own it once it’s out of warranty.

I assume you only buy new M models then, never used?
