M2 C - ASD lead
Discussion
Have had a Milltek race system fitted and whilst it sounds better than the stock exhaust the ASD spoils it somewhat.
Now I know I can purchase the lead from the US but delivery costs is almost as much as the lead itself.
Anyone know of any other places in the UK/ EU that sell similar?
Thanks.

I fitted one of these (the day I got the car!) and it is worth it even with the shipping costs. Couldn't find anywhere in Europe that did them.
This is the one I have https://technicpnp.com/product/asd-bypass-harness/

That’s the one.
But for the same price I could buy a Wi-fi dongle and connect up to Bimmalink I guess..
I also found this and have emailed the company to see if it fits, but so far no reply..

So does coding out the ASD with Bimmercode work as well as or the same as using the cable?
I've never done a comparison between the two but others have said that just doing the coding still leaves the ASD unit connected to the amp which can result in some background white noise which is most noticeable at low volumes. Apparently this is worse if you have the HK amp.Unplugging ASD from the amp cuts all the audio so that isn't an option.
