Years of being lazy and taking my car to the local carwash has left my wheels looking corroded.

Is it worth getting them diamond cut or could they be painted/powder coated? I was thinking dark anthracite.

I can't seem to find any pics of repainted 601Ms and wonder if this is because the edges are sharp or just because it's a bad idea.

I really don't have the time or patience to wash the car myself.

personally it just looks odd unless its the OEM diamond cut finish.

Maybe get one of the car safe mobile car wash people to come round and clean it?
If you continue to go to a hand car wash place it will happen again - how quick will come down to pot luck

I'm going to see if the paintshop can replicate the finish with dark inserts and silver highlights.

It might cost a bit more but may be the best of both worlds.
