But surely, BMW is no longer about being the "Ultimate Driving Machine" and is now about "Joy".

So maybe a flower vase on the dash would be more in keeping? rolleyes

It's the little known M5X5. Complete with motorsport number plate surrounds and M stripes on the front grille. Mmmmm. Nice
I raise you the very rare X3 M5....

Must have had just shy of 10 M5 badges on all
Round.

when i was 17 i had a brown Austin Allegro and i put a koni equipped sticker on it (i was 17 im now 45)

the car couldn't go over 30 without shaking its self to bits which it eventually did !!

i also spent £700 on having an Alpine stereo and a load of speakers and an amp fitted (it was 1988) to a beige sierra !!

good thing was though if i got any engine noise i turned up the stereo and that fixed it

now im a boring 45 year old with a e92 330d beemer

Brilliant! Reminds me a little of a letter in the BMW Car Club magazine when a member jokingly wrote in about other non-BMW drivers using the his lane (the BMW lane) on the motorway. smile

I followed a car with a V8 badge on the tailgate earlier this week. It was a Fiesta...

This one is brilliant.

1) Bottom stripes at the front should have gone the other way
2) Alpina stripes are completely different from ///M stripes
3) Random stripes on one mirror
4) Illegally spaced number plate front and rear that spells nothing

Afraid that’s BMW’s own terrible idea:

Though it does look crooked, that's how they come from the factory

The badge is parallel to the crease above, so that is correctly fitted. The first one is clearly not.
