Hopefully someone here has had the same issue, a couple of weeks ago the heater on our MX5 mk3.5 will not go cold, whatever I do it blows warm or hot , I'm assuming either the control is knackered or there is a mixer valve somewhere that is stuck, can anyone give me some clues where to look.

Any help would be greatfuly accepted in this weather

If it's like Mk1/2 then there isn't a valve for the heater. The hot water always passes through the heater matrix. There are flaps that control the direction of the air through or avoiding the heater matrix. I don't know much about Mk3+ but I suspect they are similar as mechanical valves in coolant tend to fail.

Thanks, you are right, I've managed to find out its a door, the actuator motor looks great fun to get at, I think I'll take the glove box out and have a look, one positive thing, my local Mazda dealer has never sold a heater control, so here's hoping.
