176K Honda Civic Type R Ep3

Just spotted this 2005 Honda Civic Type R Ep3 with 176571 miles on the clock. This must be one of the highest millage Ep3's out there.

Loads of these had done 100,000 miles in their first 3 years so there are plenty out there with big mileages - Honda with fsh easily capable of mega high mileage. Would rather have a clean original high mileage example than a lower mileage one that's been messed about with.

I almost bought one with 200k on it and this was about 4 years ago but I missed out on it!

176k is not bad at all, think mine will do that eventually.

My EP3 I have owned since new has 247k and has been to the ring many times and Cadwell and Bedford more times than I can remember and it’s never had an issue . It’s had two chains but never had a chain issue . It’s now my sons who has killed it with stupid loud exhaust and Tien suspension . It passed its test last week with no advisories. These are bulletproof cars if serviced regularly. I added Molyslip to the gearbox and it’s still like new .
