This was my first attempt at a rig shot and yes I realise my top isn't down!
Looks good! Out of interest, do you have to effectively photoshop the equipment out of the photo, or are you walking along behind it with a stabilised rig? I know nothing of photography really! Sorry if it comes across as a stupid question Edited by Typhoon2 on Sunday 3rd February 13:45

It's not stupid at all! I haven't got a shot of the rig on the back but yeah that's basically it. I had my flatmate walk along holding the strap incase the suction cups failed.Nice rig shot Typhoon.
Is that your setup for a front-on rig shot too? Surely with the rig in that position your going to have to do a lot of work in photoshop to get the rig out?
Another shot of mine.. Having a little fun in the Lake District
FB is smashing the quality out of this one, boo. And Yes, a headlamp is out - failed that morning

Sadly, the pole I bought didn't take the weight very well and my lens wasn't wide enough to move in closer. I I just photographed the car in the same position without the rig, then replaced body, leaving the glass and wheels. This is what happens when you try to do things on the cheap..

Yeah the pole does look to be sagging a lot there, cant be good for bouncing once the car moves.. It's all a learning curve though, you'll get there with it Sadly, the pole I bought didn't take the weight very well and my lens wasn't wide enough to move in closer. Today I put the deposit down on this, I found it in the PH classifieds and for its age it is immaculate. I can't wait to pick it up
The chap who is selling it also has some properly nice grunty old cars for sale and had a lot of time to sit and chat about them all today He had a particularly nice Audi Coupe 2.8 that looked brilliant up close.
