It was just sat there so I thought 'I wonder if it will take the weight...'

It did.

I'd be worried if a rollbar couldn't take the weight of a person!

Not posted any of mine recently...

I got hit by a truck tyre tread on the M4 last week, its cracked my nosecone and put a horrid rubber mark all the way up the bonnet and windscreen. The car was also filthy having been on holiday in filthy wet wales all week.

So having got home, on Sunday I decided to get it all polished out and cleaned up. The sun came out, i went outside, thought bugger this, too hot for manual labour. Clunk, clunk, whadoompf (hood goes down), put the autoglym back in the garage and went for a 150 mile rountrip for a pint of shandy. Brill.

Did Buttertubs and all the great roads surrounding it, not much traffic, car running sweet, loving my new 'fast road' WIM geometry, perfect.

Halfway stop. I doubt I could easily find this place again if you asked, was following my nose and doing the 'left, right' game.

Wensleydale. I love Yorkshire so much.

Highest pub in Britain. Worth a trip out. Very nice 3dr Impreza P1 was obviously out for a Sunday blast too, lovely car.

Car is still filthy, not arsed, have much more fun driving the thing. thumbup

This is the fourth mx5/eunos that ive had but the first one on the road!

Its a 92 v-spec 1.6 with tan leather and a nardi wooden steering wheel (which i love!) and gearknob.

Ive one had it since saturday and already ive put these wheels on (15' copomotives) and de-oranged the front indicators.

Plans are to fit a rollcage of some sort , a different exhaust and some coilovers. Maybe a hardtop?

Thats dedication - whats the story there? You look chuffed - thats a cracking grin! Car looks great, nice wheels and mirrors.

Heres some pics I've pinched from another thread, had a great run out with the Yorkshire lot last night. The pace was... brisk... suffice to say really cleared my cars throat and seems to be running better than ever this week thumbup

Notice correct road positioning - in front of all the inferior sports cars. hehe

Snotrag - I'm never quite sure how much I like the looks of the Mk1 (especially in faded BRG on the standard 14s as so many seem to be), but your car looks great.thumbup

Just found a couple of pics of mine taken last year. I don't actually seem to have any decent pics of my car. Spent 3 or so hours today giving it a wash / clay bar / Meguiars 3 stage treatment today, my arms hurt!

Still needs a new hood and the wheels still need a refurb frown It was a bit tatty when I bought it and it'll never be mint but it brushes up OK. Sadly was dark when I'd finished so no pics.

When are we going to have this giant MX-5 run out then? biggrin

That is perfect I love it! I'm thinking about swapping my jap style bumper and wheels out for a stock one and some minilites/ watanabes. Is that a polished nardi too? Mine is the stock black one, again, I'd love yours!

It's not a polished Nardi, but the "brushed alloy" finish.
I usually run with the standard 14" dasiy wheels, much nicer ride and handling than the 15" NB (ok, Mk.2 to you) wheels in the photos.
Looked at minilites, but they were quite heavy compared to the stock wheels.

Hi there,
Just signed up to the forum and thought i'd share a few pics of the car with you.

Car as she was when i bought her:

Now with enkei/mazda wheels in rover gunmetal (much better looking):

And these are the most recent pics of her, though now not very up to date:

Since these pics were taken, she's received new alloys, seats, suspension, exhaust system and a TDR air splitter.

Cheers

New alloys? The iS wheels in grey work well with the gold. Not sure about the offset plate but the front spoiler (Mazda?) looks as good as ever.
