Or send me a pm. I have a Mk2.5 that was MP62 supercharged for over 12 years. I still have all the parts in the garage!

Been covered a million times on nutz. I had a JR kit in mine running 197bhp or so and now switched to a turbo setup and have 230bhp.

Turbo is better in every respect other than the supercharger whine. Don't get me started on belt alignment. Killed the fun for me totally.

I debated turbo or supercharger.

In the end I went turbo, I knew if I had a SC I’d want more power eventually and I’d be very limited.

I’m running 10psi with a hybrid TD04-19t, kraken manifold and downpipe with Injector Dynamics 1050cc injectors, and it’s pushing out 230whp (276hp) on stock internals.

Yes I’ve spent lots of money on the entire setup, including clutch and flywheel, however it wipes the floor with most other cars around the road and on track it will embarrass cars £50k+ more expensive.

Turbo. Every time.

I’ll be converting my SC MX5 to a turbo in the next few months, if your interested.
M45 & pulley, mount & tensioner, outlet, bypass valve & manifold, 2nd throttle body.
You’ll need an ECU & intercooler.

What does the M45 turbo refer to ?
Isn't that a supercharger ?
