Supercharging my MX5
Discussion
I debated turbo or supercharger.
In the end I went turbo, I knew if I had a SC I’d want more power eventually and I’d be very limited.
I’m running 10psi with a hybrid TD04-19t, kraken manifold and downpipe with Injector Dynamics 1050cc injectors, and it’s pushing out 230whp (276hp) on stock internals.
Yes I’ve spent lots of money on the entire setup, including clutch and flywheel, however it wipes the floor with most other cars around the road and on track it will embarrass cars £50k+ more expensive.
Turbo. Every time.
