Well thanks to those haters that subjected the SSR organisers to abuse and other such
rants we now have no Wheels Day
Brilliant well done I hope your proud of yourselves.
One again the minority have fked it up for the majority - give yourselves a big pat on the back.
Thanks to everyone from SSR for your time and effort over the last 40 years.
RIP Surrey Street Rodders.

the problem is though that "custom" covers a multitude of sins from slammed beetles to pt cruisers via hot-hatches on bags
I took it as a American motors day and completely ignored the vw's etc. Turned up in the Monaro and my mate was in a BMW..neither of us would think for a second to park on the main strip so no idea why others would. Sad that it is set to end.

Well thats not strictly true, the statement says it can't carry on in its current form. I think it'd be an ideal opportunity to reorganise the way the whole show is run and make it work better and make more money for charity.

So true Maybe have groups, and pre entry, with a cut off date, there was so much space not being used, we are not haters, just really disappointed, took some proper time out to get there, and we were on a clock, we was so looking forward to getting the car out, had amazing previous shows and all had a catch up behind cars, BBQ etc, couldn't do that this time, no chance of being parked together, also 10am start, but people got in at 8am.?? we would pay pre entry £20 a car for charity so long as you got there it was smooth and organised, it's so big and good for charity get some professionals in so all the last long supporters get the faith in the event again, even change the date maybe

again it's a massive show, maybe do 2, yanks , rods, and another date for other vehicles if they will commit

But if it can't be done right don't put yourself through the stress and the abuse, and the non payers who obviously don't know what's it all about leave them out, we could have not paid after all the chaos but we did

So 2015?
