I'm used to even more torque from my firebird but the response from the 427 is just outlandish
Picking up in 2 weeks and drive it home some 600 mls

I have a Flaming River power rack and pinion set up in my '57, works great. The pump changes pressure based on engine speed so it's not too light on the motorway https://www.flamingriver.com/power-rack-pinion
