Better than you thought it would be? How's that, didn't you think it would be very good? Given I've got a C7 Z06, I would have thought your ZR1 would be just as amazing (or very nearly)

Visited it, drove it, had to have it...
It's a dart block with iron heads, but seems a pretty decent engine/trans/axle combo with wide ratio and 3.73 rear

I'm used to even more torque from my firebird but the response from the 427 is just outlandish

Picking up in 2 weeks and drive it home some 600 mls

Ah, and no ps, a chore!

I have a Flaming River power rack and pinion set up in my '57, works great. The pump changes pressure based on engine speed so it's not too light on the motorway smile

Yeah, I'm planning a ps conversion definitely, summit has one for BB for about 900 USD before shipping and taxes, seems fair
Thanks for the link, will compare the options on the weekend!

BTW, had a look on your website, wowza! Great stuff!

Thanks for the photos Speedyboi - you could post them over in the 'Why so high?' thread too - that seems to be where this forum does the general chat.

Not a Mopar devotee but I was looking at one of these Chryslers at a local car show - similar year - '63 Imperial Hardtop Sedan.......surprised to realise that it had not just quad headlamps - but quad separate chrome headlamps......very unusual.

The good ol' service position.

Just basic oil/filter, suspension greasing, then a tidy up of all the inner arches including Por15 then a top up of stonechip...

Turns out when they say don't get POR15 on your skin, they mean it.
