hi,

need a bit of advise,
just bought a 2017 s55o and would be interested to find out which would be the best after market exhaust - think I have already decided on a cat back but not sure which manufacturer,
like a good bit of sound but not too loud on the longer roads,
thanks!!1

We've fitted lots of different systems - they all have their merits. Most customers stick with a popular brand, Borla, Ford Performance, etc. But they all sound subtly different - the best bet is to get to a local meet and listen to a few. Virtually all are made from decent quality stainless steel so there's not much to choose between them from a quality perspective. We run a Milltek on our demo car and I love that.

Hi John,

I've fairly recently upgraded my stock exhaust to a Corsa Xtreme cat back, black tips... and I love it.

I did quite a lot of research before I bought and heard a few different ones in person before taking the leap, which I'd definitely recommend. YouTube clips and recordings don't do them justice.

Genuine advice here, get yourself the rousch back boxes and a pair of the ford racing performance progressive road springs, totally transforms the car.

Sounds incredible, not over top nor drone. Springs actually improve ride and get ride height as it should be.

Somewhat informative.. what to do, not what to by..!
Summit racing also have some good info videos.

Or, get on over to Mustang6g forum, there are an endless number of threads with examples on there.

I have MRT H pipe and Roush axle back. Loud, aggressive burble.
I also have the PP2 install which also changed the pitch and loudness.

I’m happy..??

I haven’t got a mustang yet but hopefully will by the end of the year and must have listened to almost every exhaust video on YouTube! For me it will be the kooks headers and Corsa sport combo sounds fantastic! Or corse extreame if you hate all neighbours in a 5 mile radius

Buy from nemesisuk if you are fitting yourself, or GT101 fully fitted.

Hi MustangJohn I went for the same Borla S-Type cat back. Suited my tastes. Not the most extreme but still unleashed enough engine note for me. It definitely brings the car to life. Crackles on over-run etc. My neighbours certainly know about it on a cold start too. wobble Mine was installed and fitted by Mike at Modurstang near Oxford. Seemed pretty reasonable compared to importing myself and he did a great job (plus some other mods) at a good price.
