Talking again about Wanstead Flats (which stretches from Walthamstow through Wanstead, Leytonstone and Manor Park GTX Jon must know of the lime green Challenger 340 6 Pack generally seen parked-up on Whipps Cross Road for quite a few years. Seem to recall someone saying it was a clone....... Was it anything to do with the brothers who initially ran the American spares outfit Competition Cars, initially from their home in one of the side roads just off Whipps Cross Road (later in a small industrial unit in the local railway yard) - seem to recall the car had a fire (arson perhaps)

All interesting stuff, see photo's of it on the Mopar site, dare say if i make the effort

to go to the Mopar nats at the Pod this year it will be there,if it's for sale i very much doubt it,

My first RT was a 70 in Sublime green so got a soft spot for that colour.

Didn’t the Posey team have some dubious over lightweight cars?
Shells left in the acid bath so long they we’re almost transparent laugh

Acid dipping was very common 'back in the day'.

The 77 car was rumoured to be so weak the roof collapsed even with a fingers weight placed on it!

The 76 car has survived better as it was largely left as factory.

They looked great but were 'NOT' competitive even with Keith Black engines.

The earlier A-bodies were lighter and handled much better, especially when Mr Bean is driving?

2007 at Goodwood.

Bumped into my old mate BoB!

He said ''I was stalking him'' as I had met him in Vegas, Spring Fling and another car show in Cali lol...

Shame he crashed with Jay, made himself look real bad, after a lifetime of high jinks...

They are different Cuda's...

New rear leaf springs on the back, to give it that 70s stance.

Those 4 holes under the numberplate, would that be for US style plates?

I'd imagine so - but you've misquoted yes

US plates have 4 holes or slots.

2 top & 2 bottom.
