More pics of this please Gary!

I 'discovered' how awesome the ZL1 is yesterday. Best looking current muscle car by far IMHO, plus the chassis is up to scratch. Engine is obviously a monster.

These cars were completely off my radar but I seem to have become an American muscle enthusiast over the last few months, so if was only a matter of time!

Nice thanks.

Interesting you have the canards on the front like the 1LE but not the big rear spoiler. I know they actually generate fairly meaningful downforce, so I would of thought you'd need both.

I think I prefer the look of the Zl1 without the 1LE aero but I like the smaller wheels and ethos of the 1LE.

Well, to bring this to a conclusion, I bought a 2019 V8 Coupe from Ian Allan today! Very happy with the purchase, will have it delivered next week. Can't wait to rumble around my local area in it! It's red hot, 6 speed with Recaros, dual mode exhaust and active dampers.

Thanks for all the advice and help - appreciate it.

Added a GM aftermarket lower grille - looks a lot better now smile Cost around £550 delivered inc duty from the US, which is quite pricy but I think was worth it. Took about 3 hours to swap over as you need to take the entire front off the car. It was actually a simple job, just a bit fiddly in places to line up the grille once you have the bumper off.

This car popped up on another thread and I thought it looked like something that had been ejected from the back of an unmarked C-130.

Surely this is one car that deserves the label of "weapon".

I mean: Even over here, where the car came from, it's a bit of a head turner. Crawl up something like Marylebone High Street on the Saturday and people might dial 999. wink

Friends Car converted by HSV, here in Australia. The conversion is very good, but the cars are not cheap.
GMSV launched a few weeks ago, to convert GM cars from LHD to RHD as well as sell the new C8. They only have the Silverado on the books and the leftover Camaro's at present. Hopefully other stuff arrives next year. There are some obvious ones but they will be $$$
These pics are elsewhere on the forum but hidden away on one of my threads.

They did a great job on the conversion but as you say, it's $$$$ lots. I've found LHD fine in the UK and I'd expect Aus to be similar, if not better, as the roads are generally wider.

That ZL1 is lovely! cloud9

The difference is that, Down Under, LHD is prohibited for all contemporary vehicles, new or used. Apologies to everybody here who already knows this; I mention it for the sake of the thread.

Conversion to RHD is compulsory and there is an established field of specialist garages that make such work the bulk of their business. Might be the largest such pool of specialists in the world.

For example: In the state of Victoria, a LHD vehicle may be used on the road only if it's more than 30 years old.

Blimey that's a bit draconian!
