lovely car, but zero desirability for probably 90% of potential yank buyers,
a few of us on here would love it, but the dick ed, John Wick prick wouldnt give a second thought for it,
i personal think the 72' Mercury Marquis is the only thing a ebay worth looking at, looks a fab machine, 428, fender skirts the works , stunning show boat for 13K ball park, 11 will have it home.....................
Now if it had a Chevy or even a Ford badge it would be a different story .

Good video but who ever choose the miusic should be hanged.
Bit of tat I picked up at the NEC to brighten up the garage and spur me on...
The blue notch back was bid up to £17K unsold and the fastback was a tad over £30K with the commission,
Did you see the MK1 Capri 3 litre, bid up to £38K but didn't sell , On their web site buy it now at £55,450,

Another idiot seller. One photo only in the ad, seriously However, a quick google show it being a withdrawn sale at an auction a few years ago....which has more photos.

I think that would be a good buy, cracking color, nice interior. Just needs the stupid door poppers removed and a proper set of door handles fitted, and the ghastly wheels changed for something more period. A set of Radir's would look lovely on that.

Good grief, you could buy a decent and (mostly) reliable Lamborghini Urraco for less than that! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204286442521?mkevt=1&am...
Thread title indeed!

...I prefer the '68's
Me too, sadly my garage is too short and my bank account is too empty. £100k for that is ridiculous.I changed my fuel pump, filter and lines at the weekend, this is the masterpiece that was connected to my old pump. Note the sawn off (domestic?) fitting that was screwed to the pump. How it didn't leak is beyond me! I'm glad to see the back of the glass filter; as Derek on Vicegrip garage says, "They start more fires than ex wives".

100% agree on this one. Fella up the road has owned a black Maserati Granturiso for a few years now - not sure what year - presuming 2012 onwards - quite a nice looking thing but with a really disgusting noisy exhaust system (perhaps even no mufflers) it sounds horrible and not really a proper V8 sound as we know it. It's been standing for over 6 months or so now.......I spoke with him back then and he said it had engine issues.....something to do with valve gear and knowing I do most car work myself he womdered whether I knew anyone who knew Maserati's and could work on it (I don't)......but old (and perhaps foolish) habits still remain and I'm tempted to ask what he might want for the car.........but guessing an engine rebuild will be far, far more than I imagine and I'll be way, way out of my depth!
I wonder if he had some local muppet chip tuner try and remap it to go with the likely de-catted exhaust system.....and he's stuffed up the motor? The other week I was following some slammed hatchback that must have been running some silly pop and bang map, and the smell of unburnt fuel was ridiculous......was worse than following an old carb car running on full choke back in the day......it was clearly being seriously overfuelled at low speeds.

What a total dogs cock,
The devils in the details, this is typical of front garden restoration,
Check everything!!!!!
And as for the Dodgy Dodge , a 100k
What planet are these idiots on,
And apparently the Lego version on EBay
Has been sold , even at 5k it will still own someone a fortune and still be a sack of pooh,
Makes me shiver the thought of without a jig
How’s anyone ever going to get that even half square????

I've been through pretty much everything now, suspension, steering, brakes etc, most of it was crusty and has been replaced. The exhaust is still on the 'to do' list, hopefully will be sorted in the next few weeks.
This is a streetview of the front garden it lived in before crossing the pond (I got the address from the US title). I should send him a letter congratulating him on his craftsmanship.
