Sounds absolutely perfect! out with the old good luck with the Jag, good time to get it out there, and yeah be glad to get out and about, and hopefully i may be able to get the last couple of jobs done, Started my reshuffle today, MK 2 is on the internet, doubt if i will get any calls but at least it's out there, Gallardo next when

So whats the plan? TA, C2 and a Pantera
bought it from the guy who owns the T/A ,Would have asked if he had seen it but kept stum just in case,
Declined the offer of a deal with Lister as nice as it is it's a lot of money for a XJS ,rather keep what i got, but he still has the 59 convertible,
429 Cobra Jet and 440 Charger but think he's going to want top dollar for them.
Ye a C1 or C2 could be on the cards but the Pantera's are to dear ,at least the one i would want is the GT5 S around £150K/£200K
Had one call on the MK2 ,very posh guy , felt like i was on a cross between being on a quiz and being interrogated by the Gestapo
Jag and MG people are so hard work, had to go and have a lay down after.

I've always thought the 65 Riviera is a handsome thing, especially in black. It's those hideaway headlights that makes me like the 65 in particular.
And growing up in the late 70s into the 80s, watching American TV shows and movies made me want, amongst others, a 68 or 69 Charger, a 78 Trans Am, and a 49 Mercury. I'd also still like a boat of a car like Burt Reynolds drove in White Lightning, complete with brown paint and black steelies. Was it a Ltd or a Galaxie?

When you think that you'll never see a Galaxie, Fairlane or Mustang with even a genuine 427 lump seeing a 'SOHC it to me' cammer is a very rare treat. Anyone remember the blue and white '64 Galaxie set up for track use that had the cammer lump? - it was up for sale for ages a few years back.......

Saw it at Goodwood on display , had a good look round it as i had my 64 at the time, They never took it round the track so don't know how quick it was or wasn't

Only ask, as some cleaver guys in the USA have been adapting repro cammer cam covers to fit Coyote V8's as part of 'vintage dressing' modern lumps and they look mighty convincing at first glance, especially as the Coyote is a very wide engine, so you have to know what you are looking at....as sound wise, there really is no mistaking a cammer.

Love the Miura Wheels, but not the popped doors, but overall its just lovely ...........................................................
The popped doors are manually operated (not some push button crap) by hooking you finger into these brass loops on the door tops and pulling up, which then pops the doors open.

I adore this cammer powered 67 Fairlane that Steve Strope at Pure Vision built...... the design details on this thing is just and thats not even mentioning the noise it makes
That is stunning. My, well, soon to be mine anyway, Firebird has straight pipes with a couple of cherry bombs then down turned tips just forward of the rear axle. I quite fancy getting a new system made with side exit pipes like on this Fairlane. Yay or nay? aeropilot said:

It's lovely , not a lover of gold but just being picky, watched it the other night on YT along with him thrashing the Lotus/Indy engineMartina Mustang . Think we were all born in the wrong country
Can be a drama getting the exhaust right, plus if its really loud it can be a bit tedious right under ya window! [url

Mines got 3" Flowmasters, with 40 series cans, deffo out the back ! .........................................................
As you can see the cable ties when i was trying to fit/clearance it !
Well ive actually ordered my rims! Old skool ARE's TT 105' 8x15's with BRG's 235-60 front and 245-60 rears, NH assured me its the biggest combo without body/arch mods............. told them i didnt want roll the edges, and absolutely no rubbing going around roundabouts etc,
At the end of the day its hardly a race car

I am biased I know but dosen't that shape knock all other intermediates out of the frame? - (including Chevelle's) - that gentle convex curve to the rear screen, the gentle 'kick-up' to the rear fenders, minimal chrome and that 'egg crate grille.newsatten said:

Watch the slow motion rolling burnout at 3.30, the whole car flexes.

One of the few car guys i can actually watch, and most of the time the cars are a bit ragged , and most of the time the proper fun ones have a Manual Box! Watch the slow motion rolling burnout at 3.30, the whole car flexes.
Id love to do one more motor, Straight clean body, 15 foot paint, but absolute killer under pinning's
As im not going to find a second car now, (i keep searching but its really a lost cause! ) i may next year pull the RT apart and build my own Road machine
