Not on a Dynoflow.
That's why the '64 & '65 Riv's are a much better ownership option (for UK) than a '63, as they 64-65's have the much better and then new design TH autobox, whereas the antiquated Dynoflow was still the same tranny from the early 50's, and not easy or cheap to get repaired here in UK.
Well you learn something new! I just presumed someone would make a shift kit like they do for the Powerglide.
And in my biased opinion the 66/67 shape is the best, but the 64 with the clamshells is a pretty handsome car.

The '62' Riv - new door cards, but they are screwed on?
I liked this one:

That's been around a long time to, don't know why unless something hidden looks a decent car,I liked this one:

Stick a Chevy badge on it double the price and it will sell.
Sorry to pick on Mustangs again but what sort of condition Mustang would you get for £15K, NOT MUCH
Bid the guy £12,500 you may own it.

Had my eye on the Skylark earlier, it's exactly half an inch shorter than the internal length of my garage!
Am awaiting a quote from a garage door specialist to look at replacing my two single doors with a full width one, at least it'll make entry and exit a bit less awkward for whatever I end up buying.
Meanwhile, another small dose of yanky goodness....

It'd be just too tight for comfort sadly! Great looking two door body style though.
Quick, someone post a pic of some muscle.....
I really do need to focus on what will physically fit inside the garage but I can't stop looking at the bigger stuff
Oh those crochet mini-dresses back in the day - leaving soooooo much to the imaginationQuick, someone post a pic of some muscle.....

Been considering an 'Old school' Enderle mechanical 8 stack injection set up for the Vette. Been wanting to do this for a few years, but converting over to electronic - unfortunately the one on sale this week in the UK needed too much restoration and machining work, It would end up look like this...........

Hilborn used to do an off the shelf EFI setup that looked just like their old mechanical stack systems, but now Hilborn have been bought by Holley, they have dropped all the Ford and other engine options, and only sell them for BBC and SBC's, and they would be cheaper than buying and trying to modify an old mechanical stack injection system.Edited by roscobbc on Tuesday 20th April 21:58
I believe Enderle will or Kinsler will do this though.

Yeah, the staggered Gasser or Can Am stack system just looks so cool
Did you by any chance, like me, have your childhood mind forever programmed into it by having one of these to play with
Noooooo - perhaps its the sense of balanced equality I like to have. Like every person irrespective of race, colour or background should be allowed an equal opportunity in life - and every action or movement has an opposite reaction - what 'goes up', must 'come down' - what 'goes in' must 'come out'. Did you by any chance, like me, have your childhood mind forever programmed into it by having one of these to play with
And so it is with induction - 'going in' and 8 individual cylinders have the right to their own 'intake' (and so we have 8 stack induction) and 'coming out' and the cylinder equally should have their own individual exhaust header - a 'zoomie'.

All you need is the injector casting (the manifold), ram tubes, butterflies and throttle shafts from the old mechanical setup.
Everything else gets chucked and replaced with the EFI kit.
There's a place in the USA (fuelinjectionent.com) that do the conversions on any old mechanical (Hilborn, Enderle, Kinsler, Crower etc.) system.
There's loads of old mechanical injection systems for sale in swap meets in the USA, but obviously, with Covid and travel situation that's not much use to you.

Should fit in your garage too

Did anyone see the white '77 'Vette on 'Bangers & Cash' last night? It sounded fantastic when the potential buyer started it up in the showroom.

I really like that, it looks beautifully done, I've googled the dimensions and it should fit but in the side profile shots it looks bigger than it (probably) actually is. In fact I've spent the morning clearing out the garage and checked the internal length again just to be sure, it's 203'' so an inch under 17ft. Much discussion ensued with her indoors whilst all this was going on, she asked me ''will you get a Corvette Stingray in there I like those...?''. We are definitely making progress, but she also asked ''you're not thinking of buying one of those horrible square things though are you...?''
Ha ha........ well that's pretty much sorted what you are getting then Women always like the most expensive option in my experience, but then moan when they find out how much that option they want is
20 years ago, my ex-missus was badgering me to sell the Sunbeam-Lotus and replace it with a C1 Corvette, but she could never explain to me where the 50k price difference between the two was magically going to come from
