Incoming: what do you have? (part 2)
Discussion
On the Sinn topic, did anyone see this?
I was watching with a sneaky bid in mind, but it went way too high to make sense with what I expect it needs spending on it.

The seamaster is staying (phew!) someone contacted me on TZ about my WTB for a lower model Sinn. He has a 103 Ti Ar Diapal on the bracelet from last year, after a price I couldn't refuse I'm still gaining all the technology in the Sinn 756 diapal that I liked but also a Titanium (argon filled) case with exhibition case back and a slightly different design. Deposit left, final payment will be made in a couple of weeks then it will be sent out. I'm not great at being patient!!
If you'd like to read full specs they're here: http://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/103_Ti_DIAPAL.htm
Very excited!

Very nice, I do like these and found Helson watches to be great quality. Whats the crack with the huge bezel though? Is it to stop the watch getting bashed during diving use?
No, it's the tool used to unscrew the bezels to change them, when I first saw I thought 'what the hell is that?'!I bought the mesh strap extra so essentially it will have two different bezels and 3 different straps giving a 6 style combo!
Bagged one of the last two that Peter Helson has in stock of the Tortuga with the numbers, think he has a few with just the stick markers.
I have a Helson Buccaneer GMT and I have to say it's the best timekeeper I've ever owned, less than a second every 2 days!!

Could you please just stop getting watches I really want myself?! Lovely, look forward to seeing pictures. I really like the 103 in all their varieties. If you'd like to read full specs they're here: http://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/103_Ti_DIAPAL.htm

Wish I could get a decent photo of this. It's a 7750 from an edition of 99. Steel case, beautifully finished. The dial is gorgeous, the rose gold arabics are wonderful. Genuine alligator strap on a butterfly deployant.
It's companion piece is a Unitas. Again, lovely finish, alligator strap, steel case. Blued hands and arabics are lovely. You can't quite tell from the pics as the proportions are quite nice, but it's a big piece, as you'd expect from the movement.
Once again, a limited edition, this time of 25.

At the moment, I've got two black faced watches (Omega and Tag Heuer) and a white faced one (Sinn).
I keep getting a hankering for something with a some blue in it.
I also keep thinking about getting an automatic for work. After wearing 'proper' watches in the evening and weekends, I don't really enjoy wearing my light quartz watch at work. It may potentially get bashed about though, so a replacement would have to be cheap.
I've combined my two wishes tonight and ordered a Blue Orient 'Mako', like the one in the pictures below.
It was only £99, and the reviews of them generally seem to be positive.
I would have liked to have seen the dial in real life first, but at that price it's not the end of the world if I don't 100% like it.

This just turned up. Not usually a fan of square watches, and would not have bought at full price. But for circa £140 in the sale, for a mechanical watch that would look good in the workplace, I was quick to snap it up (excuse crappy phone pics):
I didnt like this from the sales photos, but it looks great on the wrist.Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
