Yes I know what you mean. I actually purchased this watch from a fellow PHer who had the conversion done.
I like it. Stops the button sticking in your hand. :-)
Took me an embarrassing amount of time to work out why the watch was being referred to as being upside down!I like it. Stops the button sticking in your hand. :-)

A slightly early birthday present to myself...
What model is that, looks great if rather ginormous!I should probably point out I'm just using google 'search for this image', like the previous one, I'm not some weird seiko reference number savant
Here's a photo of it next to an original 1964 chrono

Correct. Special edition celebrating 50 years of Seiko chronographs. It's not really that big at 42mm, and my wrists aren't really that small. I think it's just a crap photo.

Thanks, really looks good. I also found a post on TZ-UK from someone who had one - it's fairly thick, how do you find the height on the wrist? Here's a photo of it next to an original 1964 chrono

Last week is ok, I missed out on one about two months ago. Enjoy!
On another note - I really wish Seiko would make an automatic day date chronograph. All the huge variety of watches they make and they simply don't make one! I know there are the vintage 70's ones, but I want a new one.
I'm really liking the Turtle PADI but can't help thinking I'll be a bit of a tool wearing it when I haven't ever dived. I know most of us that wear diver's watches just desk dive or like the style, but an actual PADI sponsored one I just can't square away with myself!
