For me a large amount of the pleasure in owning and wearing a watch from an iconic Japanese brand is that it is in fact made in Japan.
Looking down at the dial and seeing ‘made in Japan’ makes me smile just as much as seeing ‘Swiss made’ on my more expensive watches, hence I’m only buy J models.
As per the post above I’m sure there no difference in quality between J and K models though.
My feelings precisely. There is not much price difference and it's good to see that Made In Japan text.Looking down at the dial and seeing ‘made in Japan’ makes me smile just as much as seeing ‘Swiss made’ on my more expensive watches, hence I’m only buy J models.

(although I am under no illusion that 'Swiss Made' or 'Made In Japan' truly mean what they state these days but that's a different discussion.)
I have K's and J's in my humble hoard and neither performs noticeably better than the other, but I do prefer the J's that little bit more.

Creation never fail with the awful photos. Yours, Andy, makes it look amazing. Theirs... well...
Cheers. It’s a great watch as standard. Mine does have a slightly domed crystal which adds a certain something.I think this might be my next purchase, once I get round to moving on the FFF which I have but don't wear.

My newly acquired SKX009. My wife got me this for my birthday, I am beyond chuffed with it.
I need to reduce the size of the bracelet (dainty wrists), do I just poke out the pin in the clasp and move it to a different hole?

Yes, you can just move the bar to a different hole.

Depends on how much needs to be taken out , you may need to remove a link , if in doubt pop along to a jeweller , most can resize it for you I need to reduce the size of the bracelet (dainty wrists), do I just poke out the pin in the clasp and move it to a different hole?
