I have no idea and I’ve had them for several years. Where would I find the model number?

Not brilliant pics, but here are my three - SSC017on a Seiko wave vent rubber strap, original orange Monster on a Watchadoo engineer bracelet and a 7002-7009 on a scruffy leather strap (homemade, I was bored):

The bezel insert on the SSC017 is a bit battered, I'm thinking about swapping it for an all black one. The strap gets swapped on this one a lot, currently on the wave vent that originally came with the Monster.

OM:

7002-7009, early '90s I think:

Needed a new strap for the chronograph as the old one was a bit tatty around the holes and was doing my head in. Fancied something different so I got a vintage canvas look NATO in charcoal from Watchgecko.

It's nice and soft and looks pretty decent IMO.

Being as I was ordering I picked up a black Zulu for my turtle, thought the gold look hardware might compliment the gold bits on the watch.

Looks OK to be fair, saves me scratching the bracelet up anyway.

And both together...

There can’t be a more appropriate time to share a photo of my Save The Ocean turtle than after your Blue Lagoon, Chris biggrin

Hey jobbo wavey

I love the dial on the Save the ocean. I did look at one, and might still go for one to be fair, but I also quite like the SRP Black Series 'Ninja Turtle'

basically

I like turtles laugh

I wanted a Blue Lagoon but didn't buy one - hence grabbing the Save The Ocean straight away. Didn't realise how much I liked turtles generally until I tried one on in Hawaii in June, just the normal navy blue dial but it was great on the wrist.

I probably ought to get another which comes with the bracelet for more options smile

I’m definitely going through a Seiko phase with my collection at the moment. I do really like the dial on the Save The Ocean. I also have this Pepsi Turtle

You can’t go wrong owning more than one! Haha they are totally worth it

Thanks, I really really like it, there's so many details to like and it doesn't photograph great, things that are hard to photograph:

  • the dial, while it might look white, is actually light blue in the light
  • the hour and minute hand are completely shiny like the indices
  • the date hand, second hand and tip of the power reserve indicator are blued

PS: This thread has me looking at turtles again

I bought this Prospex Solar in the Summer to serve as a holiday watch (£190 Chrono24)

I wanted the rubber strap so had to go for the Pepsi bezel, but then found the bright red and blue a bit in-yer-face so changed it for a sober black bezel, so now it looks like this

I really like it - I have a Stowa Fleiger that I love and wear everyday, but like an excuse to put this one on when I can.

Tried to keep the turtle/blue dial combo going. Ordered a strapcode oyster bracelet for it which should be here next week hopefully

Love the blue dial. I keep contemplating a modded 007 or 009. In the meantime, here is my prial of Seikos. I think the middle one will have to go as I never wear it.
