I have that in blue. For the £100 or so it cost me from Creation I can't fault it. |https://thumbsnap.com/gWKF4ncC[/url]
For what they cost they’re a great watch.

It is. The dial is more like a frosty sparkle than a GS snowflake (from what I can remember of pressing my nose against a WOS window), but it does shimmer very nicely. The hands and indices and case are certainly GS style.
Do you have a link per chance? I fancy one of thoseMr_C said:

Of course:

I offered them very slightly under, at £699 shipped. Import costs were £145.

Tell you what, that looks absolutely brilliant. I've googled them a min ago, even at the price point they're at it's decent value. You're gonna have to stop posting for the sake of my credit card lol.I've hopefully got a different Seiko delivery arriving tomorrow which I intend to post up...

Apologies for the slight thread derail (I'm happy to post a separate thread question on this if need be). I will be going to Japan soon for my 50th, and would like to treat myself to a Seiko to celebrate the occasion. I am looking at getting a JDM model to make it extra special. My question is, how do I spot those JDM models, or do I assume that all Seikos sold in Japan are JDM only? Or do I need to dig out the latest JDM catalogue and make a shortlist before I go over? Thanks.
Changed to a green strap to match the cuff this morning. Watch straps and the ability to buy stuff online have really opened my eyes to how flexible watches can be. Totally changes how a watch can look.
Whilst I might have been a late adopter of online shopping, I do not in fact, live under a rock! Although the revelation might say differently!
Just found this in an old box under the bed, belonged to my grandad. Serial number suggests its from 1971 and it started ticking away as soon as I picked it up! I'd been looking for something similar as a birth year watch, and Seiko specifically as I knew he was a fan, so this feels much more special if it keeps half decent time (I'll forgive it predating me by over a decade )

Thanks! The bracelet was pretty toast and far too big for me so I've put it on a cheap alligator, given it a light polish and I'm really happy with how it's come up. Worn it every day and it's keeping time really well. A great size for my tiny wrists!

The cocktail time is one of these watches I keep going back and forth with, between not wearing it for months, wanting to sell it and then loving it again.
Looks boring in the drawer, but spectacular in the right light.
Maybe the metal strap is making it feel "wrong"? Looks boring in the drawer, but spectacular in the right light.
It's a dressy watch, maybe a nice leather or croc strap would differentiate from other sports/divers watches and give it some more wear time?
I basically keep my Cocktail Time for business meetings where I don't want a chunky dive watch attracting attention, or nights out...
Unless you have a bunch of Pateks I dont know about t that do that job better
