And if it's your daily watch the battery only lasts 3 years (£100) and needs a service every 6 years (£260).
Yeah but it gets you free lager! I seem to have got lucky and at least got one that keeps reasonable time...

Don't get me wrong I love the Aerospace, I waited 10 years to get one and wore it dailey for 6 years. I just couldn't really afford to own it frown

On a bracelet here, though it's nearly always on leather.

Got a new addition to my collection last week, was in Singapore for the F1 and called into the Breitling service centre to pick up my new strap for my Superocean 44, its the new strap from a Limited Edition they are running this year the M2000. Anyway i thought it would look nice/different on my SO44.

You can see the original first with the stainless brushed bracelet, then second picture is the new leather strap fitted.

Original bracelet:

How's the Emergency work? Is there an annual fee for monitoring/rescue? Does it transmit to a central location or just on internationally recognised SOS channels?

Loving the leather strap, is it on a deployment clasp?

When you unscrew the ariel, it transmits on the 121.5mz freq. Search and rescue have to be looking for you in order for them to receive your SOS. No annual fees, just a service every 2 years.

Any pictures of an Aerospace on leather strap? I'm tempted by a change with a nice leather strap for Toshi - I think it will go well with the Ti case but wouldn't mind some pictures to see.

Thanks

Thats the whole reason i got the strap, they also do the watch-face in orange, light blue and yellow i think all with the accented straps. Some think a bit chav but i like it and thats all i care. The starp is an extra though as mine came with the bracelet, the strap cost me S$300 (Singapore Dollar) which is roughly 150 pounds.

Hi alfaman, Ive got my last two Breitlings from Watches of Switzerland in the Paragon Mall Orchard Road i got good discounts on both, my new strap i sourced from the Breitling Service centre also in Orchard road (opposite Tangs) just down from the new Ion mall. Word of warning, the service centre will not sell you anything Breitling (straps, bracelets or spares) unless you have the said watch with you, i think its to check for copies.
