And if it's your daily watch the battery only lasts 3 years (£100) and needs a service every 6 years (£260).
Yeah but it gets you free lager! I seem to have got lucky and at least got one that keeps reasonable time...Got a new addition to my collection last week, was in Singapore for the F1 and called into the Breitling service centre to pick up my new strap for my Superocean 44, its the new strap from a Limited Edition they are running this year the M2000. Anyway i thought it would look nice/different on my SO44.

When you unscrew the ariel, it transmits on the 121.5mz freq. Search and rescue have to be looking for you in order for them to receive your SOS. No annual fees, just a service every 2 years.

Is there an annual fee for monitoring/rescue? Does it transmit to a central location or just on internationally recognised SOS channels?

Thats the whole reason i got the strap, they also do the watch-face in orange, light blue and yellow i think all with the accented straps. Some think a bit chav but i like it and thats all i care. The starp is an extra though as mine came with the bracelet, the strap cost me S$300 (Singapore Dollar) which is roughly 150 pounds.phumy said:
