Yep, there logo has a star!
The Pelagos is great but sometimes people find it a bit "sterile" but that's the "tool watch" vibe of it, have you seen the Pelagos LHD? It's interesting, it's not technically a Ltd Ed but a numbered watch, aside from that it's interesting and arguably better looking!
You wear your watch on your right wrist don't you? I'm a lefty so the crown would annoy me being on the back. A friend said it was no good for him because setting the time woulld be too awkward, I couldn't understand what he meant until he explained how he always sets the time and winds it while he is wearing it!

I think a combination of things, some are hard to wear with a T shirt because some attract a lot of attention, some are impossible to wear under a shirt cuff (I have lots of destroyed inner cuffs from rider tabs) I found myself unconciously gravitating towards the other watches instead, I also justified buying other watches by promising myself that I would sell my least favourites, those happened to be Breitlings!
Personally I'm not mad about what they've made for quite a while either
Thanks for the reply. Yes they can be too chunky to wear with the shirt cuffs / cufflinks.Me, I can't bear to part with any of my watches (although SWMBO thinks I should!).Personally I'm not mad about what they've made for quite a while either
What are your thoughts on the Hurricane Avenger?

Sorry meant to write "Avenger Hurricane" (too early!)
I've owned a Seawolf Code Yellow Black Steel, Super Avenger Black Steel and an Avenger Military which were 45mm and 48mm, I think 50mm is a bit ridiculous! The Breitlite material is interesting and might cut down on the paranoia about scratching it!
One thing i don't like is the never ending black steel "limited editions", Breitling have a nasty habit of making a limited edition then making the same watch but with different hour markers (Avenger Code Yellow) or some other tiny difference and releasing the same amount again, it really detracts from the idea of a "Limited Edition
They also have a funny idea of what is "Limited", 3000 watches isn't exactly "Limited"

Like the Avenger Hurricane this is also a composite carbon fibre something and is very light and for sub £200 I'm very impressed ( work watch )
Can't argue with that can you, I'm sure Breitling would try justifying the Hurricane price with the composite material cost! Yes the Avenger Hurricane is super expensive compared to the Hawk .... but it is a Breitling after all!
Don - yes these so-called "limited editions" are not so limited with 3000 units. I like a lot of the black stuff Breitling has produced though and have been seriously contemplating getting one for a while.

When they made the Avenger Skyland Black Steel it blew my mind, it was the only one, the only black watch in a mostly polished range and I think that was "limited" to 2000 watches, then they couldn't resist making a black version of lots of models!
They're not easy to live with, if you scratch them that's it, it has a scratch, not a black scratch, not a scratch that you can polish out!
Breitling have made some great watches and I REALLY enjoyed owning them, now my favourite Breitlings are the older Titanium Avengers, Chrono Avenger and Seawolf
