The one I posted was a random google pic. Long story short I have a guy servicing my jlc. We got to talking about what we wanted and I mentioned the galbee. He had one in his safe.

The pic was just a random one off the net. He called me today to see if I was still interested and a little chat then bank transfer and this is my new watch.

You did have me panicking for a moment that it was a quartz lol. That would be typical me to negotiate a price on the wrong version but this time the watch gods we re on my side.
But, cool watch MA. Well done.

Thanks. I love it. Been after one for a while.

I’ve also got an art deco style jump hour coming at some point this week as well. Again another right time right price. Pics to follow when it lands.

Always been after a Panerai and courtesy of Dom our resident watch dealer I have just placed a deposit on this. Pam312 1950 marina. Now all i need is a few more straps!

Anyone thinking about buying a watch have a chat with Dom, he has the patience of a saint as I change plans, ideas and the struggle to pay him as i am an idiot! And to top that off from what i can tell his prices would be difficult to match from any other “bricks and mortar” place.

New arrival today. I feel like I've bought a Rolex, this watch has taken 8 months to arrive! Shop said it would be 4-6 weeks. Heard nothing for ages, so emailed them, nothing doing, waited another couple of months emailed them, nothing doing! rolleyes Emailed customer services a Sinn to see if it was a hold up their end, they said no, we'll get in touch with the shop.
Two weeks later it's arrived, just short of 8 months later!
Never mind, it was worth the wait, it really is a lovely watch and it was at a good price.

Congratulations. I’d been eyeing that and I think it’s the perfect Panerai for me. Love the sandwich dial.

Enjoy!

That’s terrible customer service, fancy giving a veiled hint as to who they might be so other could theoretically avoid such service?!

Great choice of watch, looks awesome

Have a look at Mays Berlin for straps.

Having always worn a Garmin, I decided to treat myself to a couple of new watches, a bit of a midlife crisis I suppose. Already own a Formula 1 but really liked the Calibre 16 version.

I know I could have got a lot more for my money second hand, but YOLO as the kids say...

Small fry to most on here I know.
