My collection is getting waaaaay too big but I couldn't resit this.

I stumbled across it in a shop that sells goth jewellery, lighters, leather jackets etc. it was on a display case and a watch I've always liked.

Ebel Tarawa. They're discontinued but advertised for decent money on Chrono24.

I should put it on there really but I'll keep it for a while.

Something else may be traded soon as there's an itch to scratch I've seen.

Needless to say it was dirt cheap compared to those advertised and in VGC.

After a Grüner Veltliner fuelled lunch, my colleague and I had the itch to buy a watch to celebrate a business deal.
We headed down Berlin's Friedrichstraße with an open mind.

I give you the:

Wempe Glashütte i/SA
Zeitmeister Classic Chronograph XL
45 mm, stainless steel with brown alligator skin strap, self-winding caliber ETA A07.211 with chronograph function and date display | Reference Number WM550001

With a height of 15.45mm it has some heft.
Wears well and something a little differrent.

I sold my TAG Heuer SEL chronometer about a year ago for about 80% of what I paid for it. It will have been to someone like you, who couldn't have one first time round.

I loved mine and it was super super accurate.

Of course, had I followed the advice of my friend who worked at Rolex, and bought a Submariner, I'd have sold it for 1000% probably, but you cannot put an old head on young shoulders.

Difficult to catch the dial properly in light, so apologies for the rubbish pic, but picked this up a couple of days ago. 41mm green dial Aqua Terra. Loving the relative simplicity and clean lines.

I also have tiny wrists. Looks like I’m wearing a clock but zoomed out and in proportion it’s nowhere near as bad.

First off catalogue piece for me incoming.

Very marmite but I love it. Was asked if I wanted anything else so went land dweller in 40mm stainless.

This watch was made specifically for you hehe
Is that a mother of pearl dial?

I’ll be interested in your thoughts on the Land Dweller after all the release chatter has died down.
