If the Chrono24 checkout starts working, one of these. I like the oddity factor of it, and I've been thinking about something forged carbon for a while, and one of the Japanese sellers dropped the price a bit, so one cheeky offer and one counteroffer later...

That's lovely.

I'm repeating myself, but I love that it's a Casio that looks like a Citizen and has a Seiko movement.

Still can't get the checkout to work though...

[edit] Brave and Chrome were both blocking the verification pop-up. Doh. On its way now.

I think I read/saw something recently that alluded to their annual production being around 1.5 million watches. That's HUGE.

Very nice. smile

Nice that, love Longines.

No new big watch purchases for me, but I did get this rather nice case. Had a few naff fake leather ones and some decent plastic hard cases, but it's nice to have something made from proper wood.

Yeah, Longines is not a big brand in Europe/USA but it's huge in SE Asia. Whilst most first time buyers of swiss will buy Tag Hueur in the western world, for SE Asia it's Longines.

I wanted a thin automatic watch to fit comfortably under a shirt cuff for work. Looked at JLC ultra thin range but couldnt justify the cost for something worn during work. The Longines Flagship fitted the bill nearly perfectly, 8.7mm thick. Do wish it was smaller diameter though, 38mm would be perfect.

I've always fancied a JLC ultra thin, but it wouldn't be a sensible watch for me to wear.

Not sure why people think Longines isn't a well known or popular watch brand in Europe or the US, they ranged by just about every jewellery/watch chain in the country.

Always loved the look of Eberhard watches and especially their Chrono 4 designs. Just decided to splash out on this:

Bought new from Chrono24 via a seller in Dubai, now await the customs charges.

Classic/iconic watch.

How long does the battery last and is it any fuss to change it?

That's very striking. In a good way.

I think the batteries should last around 3-4 years and it would normally go back to Breitling to change (at some expense).

This was only serviced by them in October so I've hopefully a while to decide on maintaining the service schedule or following the online guides to change the batteries myself.

Some fantastic watches on this page, love the yellow Breitling (I have a B-1, purchased in 2002 and still going well), the Longines is very classy-looking and that blue Eberhard is smart.

Following your post I did actually look at some pics about the battery change... If it were mine I'd probably have Breitling do it. smile

A really nice watch. Enjoy! smile

I start a new job on Monday.

I currently don't have a Chronograph.

This is winging its way from Japan via C24 in the nest week or so when they go back to work.

Co-axial Racing is a very underrated and criminally undervalued watch! Fantastic choice (and congrats on the job).
