I have excellent taste.
It's taken me years to find a 2100 that's "right".
£175 with the WS10 voucher if you fancy one.

When I was in Japan last month I searched in a few places for a G-Shock that took my fancy, (I've used a ProTrek PRW-5000-1ER for mountaineering/canyoning since 2011 and although a bit battered, it's still going strong), but to no avail.

So I just ordered one of the above, free shipping to Switzerland, the promo code still works, and it's over £100 less than what retailers want for it over here.
Un grand merci

It is a homage to the Universal Geneve, Polerouter. It is from Watchdives and was released at the New Year. It is my third watch from them, all fantastic for the money, delivered in about a week. This watch has sapphire crystal/on the fly clasp. I have a original design pink dialed watch from them and a their take on a 50 fathoms, small 37mm case, fully polished case with thin dress lugs like the original original. Very retro 50's gentlemen watches.

I ll be hitting you up for some help then when mine arrives.
It's not too bad - the semi recessed button on the back is "set", then you use the + and -. The kanji next to the time is PM, or you can set it to 24H in the next step. Last stage, which says "3" when you turn it on, is screen contrast.
Date is month/day.
The big button is the light. The slider is alarm; down is off. The other buttons are for waveceptor, but that's Japan only.

Big day for me yesterday after a slightly nervous 24 hours waiting for the delivery van from Subdial
Two preowned Rolex, a Sea Dweller and Explorer 2, both watches I've admired for a while now
Not for everyone I'm sure but I'm over the moon

2 stunning watches and my favourite Rolexes. The only thing that I miss on the SD is the cyclops, always preferred it without until my eyesight got a bit worse
- that SD 43mm is sublime
and I really like the explorer too Enjoy wearing them

Incoming, paid Dominic a deposit today.

I already have the same watch but the ceramic bezel model (for which, ironically, I paid less brand new than the cost of this one!), but I ve always liked the orange version, and the lovely MrsC said if you like it just buy it, what s the point of leaving the cash in the bank? She ll do.
If I had to rationalise it, (I don t!), it means that when the time comes there will be a pair of POs so that my sons can have one each.
Now, about that Breitling ..
Sadly, after wearing this for a day or so I decided it was just too small for my gorilla wrists (it was the 42mm version) so Dominic kindly took it back into stock and is now tasked with finding me the same watch in the 45.5 size, same as my existing PO. Was genuinely surprised how much difference such an apparently small reduction in case size makes.I already have the same watch but the ceramic bezel model (for which, ironically, I paid less brand new than the cost of this one!), but I ve always liked the orange version, and the lovely MrsC said if you like it just buy it, what s the point of leaving the cash in the bank? Shouldn't have to wait too long:Janluke said:
