My son has just bought himself this with part of his first bonus. £850 for an unmarked ex-demo with box and papers, Watchfinder have one up for double that so looks a very good deal and he's chuffed with it. Taking in to a local watch repairer today to get the bracelet sized.

Last year, when I was holiday in Florida, a tried on an Omega Seamaster 300M with blue bezel and grey dial and immediately wanted one but managed to fend off the urge to buy one there and then. I’ve been on the lookout for a newish, lightly used one since then but hadn’t been able to find one that fitted the bill from a known reputable dealer. Then one popped up on Hackett Watches so I messaged to company yesterday (Easter Monday) and had an immediate reply from Dominic. After lots of excellent communication, I have this winging it way to me and should be with me tomorrow.

Congratulations - I've had this exact model for a few years (after seeing it in an airport & then buying an as new second hand one), really like it & it's become my daily watch.

I've recently bought the same watch - in green with green rubber. Surprisingly accurate and a very nice daily watch.

And here it is on my wrist

It came very well packaged, is in pristine condition and to my old eyes looks like it has never been worn. I love the way the dial changes in different light. Brilliant service from Dom.

Got this on the way. Reckon it could be a birth year watch but I’ll need to try to narrow the window from ‘early ‘70s’ to 1973…maybe!

Thought it was about time I tried one of these.

My default preference seems to be pilot watches so chinese airforce clone chronograph for less than £100 seems like a bit of fun.

Been staying away from the watch section for a while as it has proven harmful to the wallet in the past.
Thought I would pop in and drop some thanks to Mr Hackett for what has been a smooth process thus far to get
this, hopefully arrives this week. NOS

I'm desperately trying not to do an impulse purchase from the Sea-Gull store on AliExpress. The 1963 is a bit more expensive than yours at <£200 (and probably virtually identical).

£200 for a bona fide column wheel chronograph sounds insane to me!

So... thoughts? Fit, finish?
