In the previous 175 pages no-one’s watch is described as ‘ridiculous’, nor is the manner in which they’re wearing it criticised in remotely the same language. It seemed odd, then, that the first conspicuously female poster get flamed in such strong terms.
We don’t have to like the same things, but the criticism was stand-out horrid.

My ceramic Daytona has eventually arrived, so I’ve booked a trip down to Geneva, and pick it up next weekend.

I’ll never wear my previous Daytona now, so ought to get it up for sale, I think.

I agree, I did think it was a bit big for her watch but hey, Invicta gets by making mainly oversized pieces.

The criticism was particularly harsh. And it's not like it was the 2000th sub someone posted either.

Oh FFS dry your eyes, it was a flippant comment in regards to the watch size compared to the wrist - nothing personal!

No, quite the opposite. I like men’s watches on petite slim ladies. Tiny faced ladies watches don’t always look right.

I first noticed it before it was originally OHPF, when that fell through fate sealed the deal and I'm very much looking forward to taking delivery. The mocha is just lovely and, for me, sits at the smarter end of the scale, I'm hoping that the blue will be towards the casual side.

Edit - unfortunately I've decided to pull out of the purchase. The vendor, a top bloke who I have dealt with in the past, brought to my attention some marks on the case that weren't originally captured in his 'photos, his sales post has been amended and I took him up on his offer to refund.

Win some, lose some. Very good of him to be transparent though, I appreciate that.
