Something I've been after for awhile; a blue dial watch. I used to own a BR02-94 Chrono, but then sold it ... only to regret the decision. As such, I've just bought a brand new Bell & Ross BR03-94 Blue Steel! smile

(Not my photo - It should be with me by Tues!)

I can see it now you mention it.

The exact same reference popped into my mind too! tongue out A bit unfortunate, but it's a rather nice piece all the same. It was delivered yesterday and is yet to see actual sunlight. Here's a shot in the office, and another shot at the local supermarket ...The hue of the sunburst dial and concentric sub-dials changes dramatically depending on the ambient light!

This landed this afternoon. This is the third time I have purchased a P.O. but this time it’s a 42 mm rather then the 46mm. This one as the latest adjustable clasp which is a dream to use and get a great comfortable fit, it’s also had a full service and refurb at Omega UK so has two year warranty to boot, it looks as new.

That's lovely, and rates up there with the Speedmaster MW on my want list. One day..

Anyway, my first foray into proper watches.

It's 46mm and love the way it sits on the wrist. The watch itself is beautifully made, the strap not so great but serviceable. Considering putting it on black leather or rubber for the 'Panerai' look. Very pleased for < £350 and will make a great daily.

Just picked this up from Watchfinder.

Mk2. No box or papers but got a very good discount off advertised price when i pointed out a similar watch much cheaper with a different outfit, and they matched the price.

It replaced a Christopher Ward C7 Speedmaster Homage/ copy which i returned with reliability and quality issues. I decided to bite the bullet and go original (well, the Mk2 version of original).

Dont like the strap but its growing on me already. Very happy.

Do it! I have a Lagunare Chrono 3837 'Big Nine' and for the price, it represents excellent value for money. Decent build quality, good specifications, and a nicely decorated Valjoux 7750 movement too ... smile

Looks like I've got this for my birthday from Mrs Spydaman. 1963 Seiko 66-9990. Not quite the 1960 Grand Seiko I'd like but close enough.

Oh how we laughed when I told her I already had a stainless one the same so she gave me this one this morning too. 1964 Seiko Sportsmatic.

Nice is this a ltd edition? I’m tempted by the bucherer blue one too, but that green is lovely.

There's a clue in the 'photo wink

It's a tie-up between Harrods and Tudor.

Agreed, along with the Glycine.
However, we are in a minority otherwise manufacturers would not be consistently upsizing their wrist watches to the dimensions of 1920s pocket watches. A gentleman's wrist watch was supposed to be discrete, but oversize is the current fashion and that's what sells.
