That's an interesting 'day' position, never seen a day at six o'clock as well as date.

I like it, it balances out the brand name at 12 very well.

Same as used in Armand Nicolet J09

It’s not an ETA movement

The movement is Oris 735 Base movement Sellita SW 220-1

But it is the Bund that gets the first airing.

I know but money means nothing remember, it’s only a concept to be believed in. I’m sure you’ve squared the purchase with yourself and are happy and you’ve got (imho) one of the best watches created. Congratulations!

In other unexpected incoming news, I got the call this morning...

It will be de-stickered and without a warranty card for 12 months but I can’t wait to see it in the “flesh” so to speak.

I honestly thought I’d see my Pepsi before it though I did think that as I was in the minority of those who prefer the black dial I might get it sooner rather than later.

I love the look of that watch, I think it would make a great basis for a reissue model.

Thought my next buy would be a Stowa or some description, but I've been looking at this all week and just love the look of it.

Hopefully it'll arrive reasonably soon. smile

The Stowa will have to wait.

As you say such a clear simple design, I have fallen for it big time, also timekeeping over four days is so good it puts a lot of more expensive watches to shame.

I used to have an older model Daytona I got from a AD in Iceland many moons back but I never took to it, the new model does look loads better for sure and I'd take it over the Pepsi any day of the week
But I'm going more for vintage models these days they have more history to them and shoot up in price too smile

Picked up this lovely Breitling Galactic 36 at Bicester this weekend.

It’s for my wife. Her first automatic.

Some fantastic deals there.
