Anyone else on the pre-order list for the series 2 Halios Seaforth?

Feels like I’ve been waiting a million years but we are apparently 2 weeks away. I’ve got a pastel with sapphire coming (pictured)

You're one of the lucky ones, I didn't try myself however I read that it was a bit of a 'mare to get on the list. Didn't the site crash a couple of times due to the sheer volume of hits? Now I come to think of it, the site was attacked by 'bots trying to get in on the act with Halios models selling for a premium pre-owned.

Great combo you've picked there, the yellow with sapphire looked good as well.

He dropped the Series 2 which was a finite batch of a few hundred, and after one attempt where the website crashed, he pushed the date back. As you say, when the website worked they sold out in seconds and the rumor was it was bots (no idea if true). Apparently setting up one click ordering on PayPal is good for such things?

Series 3, what I’m getting, was done by opening orders for a week and letting everyone order what they liked and then going to production. Hence the agonizing wait.

He just dropped a GMT version of the Seaforth and (according to a random instagram commenter) had 4000 people fighting over 200 watches.

The guy, Jason, is clearly very good at what he does and is sitting on a goldmine. It’s hard not to admire his commitment to keeping it small.

I like the look of that Seaforth. If you are into the brand, check out a podcast called The Grey Nato. They are fans and I think there's at least one interview with the founder on there.

Seller's pics - wrist shots to follow - but have been looking at this for ages, so bagged it today. Tad smaller than my usual stuff but I am blown away with the quality... really comes alive in the light yes

Signed up for the relaunch of the Richard LeGrand Odyssea reissue

They went pretty quickly last time and with sapphire glass, NH35 and ceramic bezel they look decent for the price so time will tell

Does the wonky printing on the bezel/insert cost extra?

Managed to snag myself one of these yesterday evening when the project became live on Kickstarter, such is the nature with these projects I'm going to have to wait until February to take delivery however I'm hoping it'll be worth it.

Well after being made aware of it on this very forum, it was inevitable that I'd be posting a picture of it here soon enough...

Plan is for it to have its first outing at Goodwood Revival smile

they are beautiful and the ultimate statement in class those Junghans. I'd end up damaging it though; they look so delicate! Particularly that domed/proud crystal!

Very nice.

My old one had the mesh bracelet, but I think it looks even better on that strap.

How have you found the Presage? I was ultra tempted as it seemed to offer excellent value for money, but I was put off by having 'Presage' on the front. More so than is particularly logical.

Beautiful watches so clean looking, but as said they damage so easily, twice I had to get mine replaced, and the main reason I sold it
