Usually I don't share but this one is different. It's not the most valuable nor the most sought after but it's sure the most awaited in my collection. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Good friend of mine is getting his this week as well.
Must have got some off the production line.

Had a few buys over the last week.

Glycine Airman 36 No1 GMT

Cool watch, possibly the most ‘vintage feeling’ re-edition I’ve come across.

Casio GA2100

I’ve never owned a G-Shock, and since I saw this was back in stock on the Casio website I was curious! It’s completely illegible, but good fun all the same. I still don’t ‘get’ them the way some people do, but can see the appeal.

Rolex OP39

Picked up yesterday, completely unexpected purchase...which means that I’m frantically gathering other watches up to stick on eBay (including the above Glycine) before the other half actually murders me.

Completely smitten with it though.

Oooof!
The Glycine is a lovely thing.
I love the Rolex and the 'completely unexpected purchase' flippancy!
Make sure you insure it before the other half murders you!

Haha, reading my message back it came across as a bit bellendish actually. Apologies PH, not my intention. Watches tend to be the reason why I drive a Meg 250 and not an M3.

It was unexpected in the sense that I had the opportunity to pick it up for a price that meant it was kind of a no-brainier, so bit the bullet.

It has actually made me re-think all of my watches and I’m currently, Mrs Luke slightly nudged, selling off most to create a 3 watch collection. Along with the OP39 I’ll be keeping my Speedy Moonwatch, all others (nothing dramatically exciting/expensive) are going. My SKX007 sold last night, and that hurt far more than I expected it to, lol!

I just need to think of a diver to run alongside the two, and I’m considering allsorts from a SBP143, to a Doxa, to a BB58. Silly hobby takes up way too much time in my head, but I’m sure I’m in good company wink

G-Shocks and Vostoks don’t count to a 3 watch collection, right?😂

I haven't purchased a watch in over a year (!) and I was getting covetous thoughts about a Sinn chronograph. But some large bills on the car (service, suspension and tyres) means I should hold off for now. A 1970's £55 stopwatch stopgap is inbound which will allow me to time my espresso pours with 1/5 a second accuracy. I hope it's not as blurry in real life.

Always fancied one of these to go with my Black Bay and GMT and after a bit of searching found an AD with one.

Very nice i do like all the modern versions .last year the local AD had one on offer that quickly sold ,

I have the blue version still wear it daily after a few years of ownership.

That is fantastic. I’m normally not that moved by Tudor but that really is a good looking watch! Congratulations
