Just got this bad boy

Last week I got pretty tipsy, well - wasted watching the Indy 500 and 'accidentally' bought this: The Oris Aquis 'Dat Watt' limited edition. It arrived the other day, very happy with it - I've wanted an Aquis for a while and this edition spoke to my sensibilities with the moon graph complication and tide range. Really impressed with the quality - I've had an Omega seamaster ceramic and the quality of the Oris is near enough on a par with the Omega.

Oh I see, yes hadn't sized it properly at that point, probably slipped down for the shot. Although in hot weather I do tend to wear my bracelet watches a little looser as I find my arms/wrists swell a bit.

Bit of a weird thing to say as a first comment about the watch though.

The Oris is fabulous.

There limited editions-Carysfort, Hangkang, Whale shark and of course the Dat Watt are very good value.

I have a Pro Diver and like all Oris’ the quality is first rate.

Love that.

Finally found one.



It isn't this one though, the one I've put a deposit on is a later non tritium dial, in better nick.

Her reply was
Your weird friends on that website can swipe past your comments,
With you WFH I'm stuck with you complaining all day and all evening ... She left the room stating "No-one wants that damn watch delivered more than I do"
