Incoming… what do you have? (Vol. 3)
Discussion
Ever since I was a kid, I've always been fascinated by the moon and thus I do love a Moon Phase Complication on a watch. In fact it was what drew me in on a Montblanc Heritage.
I've been looking into micro watch brands, in particular, British-designed but Swiss-made. Farer has always been on my radar since they launched, but for some reason their quirky colours/designs have never really done it for me, until last night....
I've ordered their new release Moon Phase Manual and I've gone for the Halley with the brown/tan strap. Whilst I dont believe they will be a limited edition, the first 100 will be numbered (they'll probably all be numbered when they've sold the first 100 and release a second batch) but I love it.
It wont ship until the 27th April, but I am excited for it to arrive!

Has any one got one of the green omega seamasters?
At least 1 poster on here does. They post in wristcheck fairly often. I tried to source one for my 40th but the supply was non-existent and had waiting lists.
Not sure if supply has improved recently.

Local place I chatted too the other week said that they had fulfilled their waiting list orders

Stunning. Love the detail. I've been looking into micro watch brands, in particular, British-designed but Swiss-made. Farer has always been on my radar since they launched, but for some reason their quirky colours/designs have never really done it for me, until last night....

I'm pondering whether to send my Omega piece of junk that packed up after just a few years to Omega for a service, or buy another Farer instead. I'm really liking the Mansfield.
That would be my pick of the range right now.Love that dial colour.

I can't tell you how much I wish you hadn't posted that. Farers are bloody lovely watches.

ETA - Actually just found it. The site assumes a degree of knowledge about the range that I didn't possess.

Every time I come to this thread I find some more watches that I *need* to buy! I've never seen a Farer in the flesh, what are they like? They seem to be in the same space as CW, so I assume a similar quality and finish?Farers are great.
This is one of mine. Lovely watch with it's ceramic bezel and fun colours. Finishing is excellent.
The Sellita movement is a bit basic, and you can feel a bit of slack when adjusting it, but easily fixed or replaced if it goes wrong...which it hasn't!
And this is the other. Gorgeous, stepped dial, in a finish reminiscent of high end card. Lovely raised numerals.
I'm considering a third! Cayley pilot in blue.
