In November 2024 I had gone as far as creating an account on their website (including my email/phone number) and putting a pair of watches in there for Mrs B and I to open under the Xmas tree. I then had to rush out, so just closed the browser, turned off the laptop and got in the car.
About an hour later I got a WhatsApp message politely asking if I needed any more info to complete my order. I cheekily replied that a 20% discount code would help, which was then courteously denied, so I stopped responding and went about my day.
That evening I received a further message with said 20% code, so I went ahead and ordered the diamond/mother of pearl Redentore 36 for Mrs B and a blue dial Nereide GMT for me. They arrived barely at my private adress two days later, having passed through Swiss customs from Italy, for which I got a VAT bill a week later in the post.
Certainly can't knock the customer service and order management... and the watches are pretty good for the price as well
I had a similar experience, got sent extra photos and videos of the watch and got a free strap thrown in. Already found a 20% code online so they wouldn't give me anymore. But was a nice touch and I sent them photos once I received and got a nice thank you from them. Small touch but has a impact.About an hour later I got a WhatsApp message politely asking if I needed any more info to complete my order. I like aventurine in theory, but the ones I've seen in person have been so sparkly I suspect I'd spend all day staring and never get anything done ever again...
It's actually quite reserved, as I did worry it might be a bit too girly, but in reality it's not at all. When the light hits it, it looks more likely a starry sky which I wanted, but most the time a dark blue. They do have the all blacked out version too which is pretty cool if you don't want the sparkles.Sporky said:
I like sparkles too much!
In that case, for your delectation:https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-constellatio...
(Not an incoming for me, it's lovely, but it's too similar to my Electroquartz to make room for it in the ice cream tubs.)

So I have just begun my watch collection journey with my first being the Venezianico Avventurina. Always appreciated watches but just never got into them, but I spotted that watch on a recent Nico video (love or hate him), and just fell in love with it.
Now fast forward a couple months, I bought another Venezianico, this time the Carbino model from Vinted at a steal of a price. My other half also got my a 35mm Tissot PRX for my B'day. I have a couple Casio's too but now ready for my first big purchase.
Went in to a local shop at the weekend with 3 watches on my shortlist - Omega Seamaster 300m on bracelet in either blue or white (think blue will be the one), Aqua Terra on grey dial and blue leather strap (they didn't have this in-store) and a Grand Seiko Snowflake. I actually expected it to be the GS to win me over, but I was actually quite underwhelmed with it next to the Omegas, granted they are different types of watches.
But think I will pull the trigger on the blue seamaster next week. I do think the GS will end up in my collection eventually, but might save it when I eventually get over to Japan for a holiday which is on my wishlist.

Nico is hilarious. Most of the stuff he reviews is well out of my price range though. I must have missed his piece on the Venezianico Avventurina. If not heard of them before. It’s a nice looking watch. This could now be on the radar.
Interesting about the lack of love for the grand seiko. Ironically I’ve seen a few in the flesh and they look much better than photos suggest. Have you made a choice?

Been selling watches recently to slim down the collection, saw this though and appealed to me, love something fun and quirky plus isn't a lot of money.
Marmite piece I'm sure, appeals to me though, should be here this week.

I like it and Seconde Seconde stuff, generally, as 'a bit of fun', and have a couple of his collabs with Spinnaker. Cool thing!Marmite piece I'm sure, appeals to me though, should be here this week.

If the crown was at 3 o'clock I'd be all over this. Spoils it IMHO.
The crown recesses away nicely, arrived yesterday, I really like it, wears well, sunburst dial catches the light lovely and its obviously got the fun factor elements.Video below which I can't seem to embed.
