I'm hoping this might become a thread that introduces us to watches that we might not otherwise have come across (if one doesn't already exist of course).

Today, I've come across this quite elegant Chopard. I've never really rated them and made silly comments like "they're jewellers, not watchmakers", but this really is a lovely looking thing to me.

Picture, name of watch and link please. biggrin

Thats a classy piece! I am not a big fan of gold cased watches . That Omega carries it though.

Love the sedna gold PO, the new ceramic deep black with sedna gold trim is also stunning.

I was offered a time only Chopard in SS for £2,500 a couple of years back. Such a beautiful watch and such a stupid decision not to buy it. Rocking horse poo to find in SS and nowhere near £2.5k now

Here is a link and photo. Do what the OP asked chaps. It makes it better for all of us. I think this is the watch, but can't be sure.

Well the OP said "a thread that introduces us to watches that we might not otherwise have come across"

I'm off to search for some more small change down the back of the sofa, (to buy a lottery ticket) rofl

Love MB&F watches. Was impressed by their black badger series until I realised it wasn't a movement they made themselves. Probably because it only cost 25K!!!!!

Just saw a video of the L.U.C full strike. Amazing watch. Nice price too at over CHF250k

Ahh... you guys are going to get me into trouble with the wife! From memory it looked something like the one on the right below, though I seem to remember a sub-seconds dial, though I can only find this model (LUC XPS) in precious metals.

You buggers... it is indeed a Mark III Classic. One for sale on Chrono24, but in the research i've just seen the grey dialled version, yes please...
