OMFG that is where it's at.
Mine's a "Polish Navy" so they aren't as well regarded as most as the history is doubtful. It's been checked over as being as real as this particular type can be.

As a result it isn't particularly valuable in comparison with other vintage Fifty Fathoms.

As you consider it not particularly valuable I've just checked and it appears to fit a treat, PM me once you've boxed it up for shipping to T6 tower's smile

Would have thought about it seriously, but as you will wear it on your right wrist I couldn't possible send it to such a bad home.

How does that compare in terms of finish against, say, a Patek?

Blancpain do make some lovely watches.

Taking the boy camping, so out comes my trusty and battered Poljot alarm. Waterproof enough (screw in crowns), alarm is just right to wake you and you alone, and I love it . . .

To be honest ... I'm just a factory worker and most people I interact with wouldn't know what a Patek was ... So even though I have a dirty vice of a small collection of 'nice' watches, I have never examined a Patek (well out of my payscale smile )
Having said that I can't believe it would have a better finish than my Blancpain (that I bought from a watch auction house at although an ouch price ... actually a bargain)
Two grail watches for me ... Snoopy speedy & a No radiation FF BP
Missed the chance of a snoopy in Jan banghead

At risk of thread derailing let's leave it at ... Wear it well and enjoy thumbup

Love that Tudor North Flag, pretty flawless.

Doesn't seem to have been quite as successful as some of Tudor's other models, but as their first modern release with an in-house movement & display back, I reckon it might be looked back upon much more fondly in future years.
