It's a customised brand new Seiko 5 with a mechanical Seiko 24 jewels movement (which Seiko make in-house in its entirety including the mainspring - they are one of the few watchmakers who make ALL of the parts of their movements), a custom face and a custom bezel made to my specifications by a watchmaker.

And it doesn't say Blancpain on it.


So no, I don't consider it a fake. I consider it to be a watch made for me, based on a simple reliable movement, which happens to look like a FF because I like them!

Must admit, it's really grown on me!

I don't care - I like it! And to be honest only 1 in 10,000 people have ever heard of Blancpain!

It says Fifty Five Fanthoms so it's 10% better than Blancpain.

I don't know. I'm someone who would recognise the original and had no idea that converting a Casio into a lookalike was a thing.
