I love this type of comment. Because my hand is clearly going blue from lack of blood flow. But taking your advice I've loosened it.
Some people don't like to wear watches this tight. I need to feel the watch fits perfect i.e. not loose and not tight to be happy with it. That first pic you posted gave me chills.

That looks incredibly loose. Doesn't it drive you mad? I like to be able to get a single finger beneath my watch strap.

Mind you, I don't have sausage hands....

Gave you chills? Have you considered blowing into a paper bag a few times?

ETA: Doofus, I like to be fisted under my strap, but only on a Friday night.

Picked up a hulk today, think I'll be shifting that and the Omega soon though and just keeping my hulk

It's not working I'm afraid. Even google don't know what you're trying to say. "You bought a hulk so that you can sell the hulk (and Omega) and then keep the hulk." That's some higher level stream of consciousness right there.

Lovely watch. The Datejust on a jubilee bracelet is just briliant and understated.

Thank you. This one is very battered (more than you can tell in the photo) but it's a nice watch regardless. Definitely a keeper.

Wearing it around university campuses on boozy nights and my work in a factory and sawmill can be blamed for that. It's well overdue a service but the timekeeping is still within COSC so I'm not bothered! It doesn't get worn too much these days though

My eldest Godson is 18 next Friday so I bought him this lovely Oris today from my local AD,

He's got plenty of G Shock & sporty type smart watches but as he's soon to embark on a career in dentistry, I figured he should have something Swiss, smart & automatic.

Got 12% discount too wink

Cheers,

Simon

Nice.

You're Matt though, so who's Charlie?

Charlie is my Son, I ordered the watch when he was born, so it's his birth watch smile the date is his birthday

Nicer still.

You will of course need to have some more children to provide an excuse for expanding the collection!

Wild guess but I'd say Charlie is his son and this is a birth watch for an 18th/21st present? Very nice touch if so.
