Dont know to be honest, think it bit soon to sell it? would like to see how the prices go. Have heard they might only do the red letters for a year? Im not really that keen on it to be honest. Wish they had done the green fade dial on it like the moc ups that were on the web.

Quite right, sorry for my part.

I hope to get a chance to try the 50th on soon. I would like one but it depends how it sits on my wrist, I'm already sold on the looks.

That's the point I was trying to make, you were a genuine list drop out,but I bet if they have a list of say 15-20 people I bet a lot of them are dreamers and haven't got the money anyway! They just block the whole process up! Seriously I have bought two watches (Batmans) in the last couple of months because the people before me said they haven't got the funds at the moment! That's when watch flippers put up and pay up,then sell for a profit, then the same people whine about people flipping and making a profit on a watch they couldn't afford in the first place! Anyone that sells a watch over Rolex list price is earning a profit! Do these people moan about say Tesco buying a tin of beans for 10p and selling it to you for 20p! Get over it or put the leg work in and cut out the greedy flipper! IMHO
I think I'll seize the opportunity next time! How do I gauge pricing though, and where's best to sell? I've got at least one other watch to sell ASAP (an old Breitling B1).

They had one in Madrid when I was there last week, it really does look nice.

My AD hasn't got a date on the stainless sky dweller apart from that it's acknowledged by Rolex. I'm guessing I'll just get a call over the next month or so that it's turned up.

The Sea Dweller looked nicer than I originally thought it would too.

I believe some have already started to show in Europe, and had one of the UK guys say they are taking delivery of the blue faced stainless one very soon and to be quick or you'll miss it?

Pretty sure they both belong to the lanes watch company

Have seen these advertised with the Lanes Watch co ... probably splashing it all over with various social media platforms and names.

I'm going to try one of these on to see if I like it. I bought my SD4K on the basis of the DS being too big for my wrists, so not sure how the 43mm will feel. Anyway, nice to see that the SD4K is now discontinued so prices have gone up (spiked for now!) ... cheapest on ebay being £8,750 and on C24, £8300.

Hi

"Unstickered"????

I wonder how much of this is a spike or a jump from which they might slowly move upwards from?

I havn't seen many things go back down in discontinued Rolex world

Hi,

The more pictures and videos I see of the new Sea Dweller the more I like it. I was lucky enough to try on a new black dial Daytona. My first impression was the watch was small and the face was cramped. Is the new Sea Dweller thicker or the same as the outgoing model? Is there any pictures of the size comparrison?

It's the same thickness. Loads of pictures on the Rolex Forum and TZ-UK with many comparison shots.

It's a great piece, quite heavy but not as heavy as the DSSD. It's far more balanced than teh DSSD though.
