I saw someone today wearing.......

We have those threads to document watches we have and are expecting. But, I do not think we have a thread to cover the watches we see when out and about. I had a meeting this week with someone wearing this....

I work in banking in London, so see quite a few 'high end' watches.
On my bank of desks we have a Patek Phillipe Aquanaut (on rubber band), and IWC Flight Chrono, more Subs than you can shake a stick at (great watches, but soooooo common here) and a nice selection of Omegas and Breitlings.
However, my personal favorite is the Director (yes, powerfully built) who wears a Seiko Recraft with a rattly bracelet and a green dial.

It looked surprisingly think/chunky for an IWC. It did not help that he had a fit bit on as well rubbing up against it.
Unfortunately most IWC watches are thick and chunky particularly the ones with complications. This watch is 16.5mm thick so thicker than a Rolex DeepSea. It would be like wearing a block of flats on your wrist. Nice looking watches but they really need to learn how to minuturise the internals better to get the case thickness down.Dempsey1971 said:

Same here but in NYC. I envionsioned this in the same vain as the original "Supercars, what rarities have you seen". Rare and interesting watches. Doesn't matter what price.
