OLE MATHIESEN

I passed through Copenhagen the other day and saw some nice dress watches, branded Ole Mathiesen, quartz movement, but very slim, a little like the Longines Classic, but very minimal. They were priced around £7-800.

Any one had any experience of them or any views?

Had a Danish friend who had an Ole Mathiesen. Looked good, but he was very disappointed with the quality. Kept stopping for no reason and after about a year the crown just fell off.

Yes, I wondered if it was basically a Style/Branding exercise.

When I lived in Scandinavia there were huge numbers of start-up brands, some with fjord water in them...FFS! I would say avoid.
